2 years on ......reliving the last days of Highfield Rd football stadium.
April 2005 saw Coventry City thump Derby County 6-1 in the final game at Highfield Rd, home to the club for 108 years. Richard Wood, City fan and Leofric director has made a short documentary with some of the young fans about this final game and subsequent demolition of the ground. Read more >
Paul's been off to Birmingham again to help out the nice people at the Birmingham School of Acting and Dreamfinder Productions by making one of the films in the Brummiewood scheme. And all it took were lots of dead people, some third degree burns, suicidal dead people, religious loonies, and yet more dead people of a generally dead nature. Many of you subscribed to follow the development and production of this low budget gangster feature. Sadly we were unable to secure the funding necessary to take the project forward and it is now very much on the back burner and unlikely to proceed at the moment.
One of the pieces in the funding jigsaw is the need to demonstrate that we are capable of delivering feature length drama with limited resources and budget and we will be addressing this with an ultra low budget feature currently being scripted. Watch this space for further details.
